Our home healthcare services are designed to meet the short or long term skilled nursing, companionship, or personal care needs of individuals. These home healthcare services are generally offered in the home, but can be utilized in any location where the individual needs additional support. Our medical and non-medical home healthcare services can be performed a few hours a week, or as many as 24 hours per day. Short-term respite relief is available 7 days a week, including holidays. Whether you or your loved one needs extra assistance at home after a stay in the hospital, if you have an aging parent that needs a little extra assistance to remain at home or if help is needed for a pregnant or post-partum mother, we are here to help.
The services provided by Home Healthcare Associates is provided by caring and dedicated caregivers ranging from homemakers to home health aides, licensed practical nurses to registered nurses.
Each caregiver is insured and bonded, and are fully trained and sensitive to the homemaking and caregiving concerns and needs of all ages. Our caregivers have a passion for caring. Each caregiver receives extensive training so that they have the skills and commitment to help each client remain independent and at home. We are licensed by the Indiana Department of Health to provide medical and non-medical services. Our medical services include skilled nursing, wound care, medication management, new diagnosis teaching, and much more.
We provide caregiver and companion services for:
- Seniors living at home or in any setting
- New mothers for support in those first weeks post-partum and beyond
- Pregnant women on “bed rest” with or without other siblings at home
- Care for any age group with physical or cognitive disabilities
- Anyone needing a little extra assistance at home
Some of the caregiver services we provide:
- assistance getting in and out of bed, wheelchairs and motor vehicles.
- assistance with routine body functions, including: bathing and personal hygiene
- assistance with dressing and grooming
- assistance with feeding, including preparation and cleaning
Some of the companion services we provide:
- homemaker services: shopping, laundry, cleaning and seasonal chores
- companion services: transportation, letter writing, mail reading, escort services
- assistance with cognitive tasks, including managing finances, planning activities
